Wayne R. Renegar, DVM
Dr. Renegar graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1976. Following graduation he completed a 14-month internship at the Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. After his internship he completed a two-year surgical residency at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and then continued his surgical training at South Shore Veterinary Associates (currently VCA South Shore Animal Hospital) in South Weymouth, MA.
From 1982-1995, Dr. Renegar provided his surgical services to many clinics throughout Massachusetts. In 1995, Dr. Renegar and his wife, Sandra, a certified veterinary technician opened the East Bridgewater Veterinary Clinic.
In December of 2015, Dr. Renegar officially retired from full time work; however, Dr. Renegar, could not stay away for too long. Dr. Renegar continues to care for patients at East Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital one day a week. He is also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and he will assist local clients with wildlife emergencies on a case by case basis.
